Tour Itinerary
DAY 01 – ARRIVE DELHI
Welcome and assistance on arrival and check in at hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02 – DELHI
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for the visit of Old and New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, biggest mosque of India constructed in 17th Century. Drive past Red fort. Walk in the market of Chandni Chowk. Visit of Raj Ghat, memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and Gandhi Museum. Orientation tour of New Delhi included India Gate, President house, Parliamnet of India, Embassy area. Visit of Lotus Temple, this temple is built in the shape of a lotus flower and is the last of seven Major Bahai’s temples built around the world. Completed in1986 it is set among the lush green landscaped gardens. The structure is made up of pure white marble. The architect Furiburz Sabha chose the lotus as the symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Bhai Temple Jainism and Islam. Adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 – DELHI / MANDAWA (265 KMS / 06H)
Breakfast at hotel. Route towards Shekhawati, gateway of Rajasthan and Thar desert. Arrival and check in at hotel. Visit Mandawa – famous for its mural painted in Havelis (ancient house of rich traders) this area is also known by the name of ‘Open Air Art Gallery’. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 – MANDAWA / BIKANER (200 KMS / 03H45)
Breakfast at hotel. Continue by road towards Bikaner. Visit Junagarh fort, constructed in 16th century. Discover different courtyards with excellent paintings and museum having nice collection of objects used by royal families. Auto-rickshaw ride in the old city and its naturally animated Bazar. Arrival and check in at hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05 – BIKANER / DESHNOKE / JODHPUR (250 KM / 05H00)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road to Deshnoke and visit world famous Karni Mata temple or Rat Temple – Karni Mata was a 15th century woman, with extraordinary powers and is seen as the reincarnation of Goddess Durga. Karni Mata is said to be able to return humans to earth as a rat, and later as human beings. More than 25.000 rats are living in this unique temple nowadays. The rats are very sacred and followers believe these animals are the reincarnation of their own deceased relatives. Numerous people come from far, to feed the animals and worship Karni Mata and their deceased loved ones. A very unique and special belief. Then continue by road to Jodhpur (Blue city). Arrival and check in at hotel. Visit Mehrangarh fort, also called an eagle fort now transforms in a beautiful museum. Jaswanth thada, cenotaph (memorial) of white marble constructed by the wife of Mahraja Jawant Singh. Walk in the old city and in famous Sardar Bazar around the clock tower. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 – JODHPUR / PUSHKAR (200 KM / 04H00)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road to Pushkar, one of the most important pilgrimage centres for Hindus. Arrival & check in at hotel. Visit of Brahma temple, only active temple in world dedicated to Lord Brahma and one of the most important pilgrimage centers for the Hindus and Jains. Walk in the colorful market and at the Ghats of Holy Lake where the pilgrims do their religious rituals with the help of Brahmin (priest). Overnight at hotel.
DAY 07 – PUSHKAR / JAIPUR (145 KM / 03H15)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road to Jaipur (Pink City), the capital of Rajasthan founded in the beginning of 18th Century. Visit Birla temple, constructed in best quality of marble by Birla family. Walk in the famous markets of the pink city. Rickshaw ride in the Pink city. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 08 – JAIPUR
Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Jaipur Amber fort, a marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts. The fort interior has three courtyards and various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory work, exquisite wall paintings and tiny mirror chips which create a tantalizing reflection effect. Photo stop at Jal Mahal (waterpalace). Afternoon visit of City palace (residential palace of royal family & museum), The museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of Royal Princes, carpets, an armory of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and processions. Jantar Mantar (UNESCO observatory), which is the largest stone and marble designed observatory in the world. Photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds). Movie show at Raj Mandir cinema Hall – one of the best top ten cinema hall of the world. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 09 – JAIPUR / ABHANERI / AGRA (250 KM / 05H)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road to Abhaneri. Arrive and visit Chand Baori, beautiful stepwell of 9th century and one of the biggest stepwell in world. It is the best example of Indian architecture rather towards water conservation system. Harshit Mata temple, built during 8th to 9th century A.D by Chauhan king. Continue to Agra. Arrival and check in at hotel. Visit of Taj Mahal (UNESCO) (closed on Friday)- this legendary white marble structure was built by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan in commemoration of his love for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Visit the workshop to see Unique Marble inlay work with semi-precious stone like in Taj Mahal. Visit of marble factory to see the inlay work of semi precious stone on marble like Taj Mahal. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 10 – AGRA / LUCKNOW (335 KM / 04H30)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road to Lucknow – This city of Nawabs is famous for it’s Tehzeeb (antiquates), architecture, cuisine and deep culture. Arrival and check in at Hotel. Then Depart for the visit of Rumi Darwaza – was built in 1784-86 and is a 60 feet high entrance, with no visible supporting fittings. It is also known as the Turkish Gate and displays Awadhi architectural style. Bara Imambara – The Bara Imambara of Lucknow is one of the most famous monuments of the city. It is an important place of worship for the Muslims who come here every year to celebrate the religious festival of Muharram. The Imambara is specially known for its incredible maze, known as Bhul Bhulaiya locally, which is located in the upper floor of the monument. Chota Immambara – The Chhota Imambara, or the Imambara of Hussainabad, is one of the most beautiful and attractive buildings in the old city of Lucknow. Walk in the old city to discover the routes of this traditional city. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 11 – LUCKNOW / AYODHYA (155 KM / 02H30)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road to Ayodhya – Birth place of Lord Rama (7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu). This is one of the most important pilgrimage centre of India. Arrival and check in at Hotel. Depart for the visit of Hanuman Garhi – Hanuman Garhi is a 10th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu God, Hanuman. It is one of the most important temples in Ayodhya as it is customary to visit Hanuman Garhi before visiting the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. It is believed that Lord Hanuman lived at the temple site guarding Ayodhya.Ram Janam Bhoomi – Translating to Ram’s Birthplace; the Ram Janmabhoomi is the birthplace of the Hindu deity, Lord Ram. According to the Indian epic Ramayan, Ram, Lord Vishnu’s seventh manifestation, is said to have grown up along Ayodhya’s river Sarayu. Located in the ancient city of Ayodhya, he Ram Janmabhoomi is a highly revered site for Hindu devotees.
Kanak Bhawan – Kanak Bhawan, also meaning Golden Palace, cites three golden-crowned idols of the two gods under a silver roof in the sanctum santorum (Garbagriha). It is believed that this shrine was gifted to Rama and Sita by the former’s stepmother, Kaikeyi. Nageshwarnath Temple – It is believed to have been set up by Kush or Kusha, Lord Rama’s son. Walk at the Saryu river Ghats and enjoy the activities of pilgrims. Assist in the Saryu river evening ceremony. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 12 – AYODHYA / VARANASI (220 KM / 04H30)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by road to Varanasi. Arrival and Check in at hotel. In the evening Rickshaw ride in the old city and at the famous ghat of Varanasi, you will have the opportunity to attend evening Ganga aarti, an unforgettable experience. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 13 – VARANASI / PRAYAGRAJ / VARANASI (120 + 120 KM / 02H30 + 02H30)
Early in the morning, boat ride on the river Ganga and admire the religious rituals and bathing of pilgrims at sunrise, an unforgettable sight that has been repeated every day. Walk in the streets of Old city to get the actual feeling of Varanasi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath temple (from outside because non-Hindus are not allowed). Return to the hotel for breakfast. Then depart by road to Prayagraj – is the place of Sangam (affluent of rivers) of three most important rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Depart by boat for Sangam. Visit of famous Hanuman temple – Most famous monkey god temple of the city. Visit of Anand Bhawan – Ancient residence of Moti lal Nehru (Father of Jawaharlal Nehru) now transform in the Museum. Then Return to Varanasi. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 14 – VARANASI / DELHI (FLIGHT @ 15H55 / 17H30)
Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Sarnath, the place where the Buddha preached his first sermon. In Sarnath visit Buddhist temple, Ruins, Museum, and Garden with Big statue of Budha. Then transfer at the airport for the flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer to the International airport for the flight to your destination. Night on board.
